Wicca is big boned and
impressive, built solidly and uphill with a nice short back for
dressage. She has a huge, powerful trot with lots of natural engagement
and suspension. I absolutely love watching her move! Before her
injury, we free jumped her twice and she showed great aptitude
for that as well, easily jumping 3'6" on the first day. She
came to us through our good friend, Randy Hickman, and was bred
in KY by Kaleidoscope
Farm. Randy, we can't thank you enough for our wonderful
girl!!

Update |
In
2005, after
only being under saddle for several months (and just recently
bred to Yeager), we were
crushed when Wicca suffered an unfortunate pasture accident that
fractured her right hock in several places. The fractures were
quite unusual in nature, so it is unknown how she did it or what
her future limitations will be.

The
good news is that she has recovered much better than expected,
her hock looks great and she appears very
sound. The
vets are confident that she
will be able to at least continue with some training on the flat
in the future, but we must re-x-ray before we know if it would
be wise to jump her again.
