"Roxy"
1991 Grey Thoroughbred Mare

Roxy is owned by one of my students
(and friend), Tiffany Garrett. She is a 16.2hh grey TB mare. I
have always thought she was wonderful, so in 2005 we asked Tiffany
if we could breed her for a baby that would become my husband's
future event horse. We got a lovely, super sweet filly named Freya.
In 2007, Tiffany again generously offered to allow us to breed
Roxy for a foal by Yeager GF - we got an elegant, refined warmblood
filly named Franka.
Roxy is a sweet, honest TB mare with a great trot
and a real love for jumping. We obviously think a lot of her,
since we are keeping one of her foals!

 FREYA

| Roxy's
first foal for us, 'Freya'
(grey filly by FV Rexque Futurus),
was bred to be Sjon's future event horse. She is super sweet,
bold and loves people. Freya isn't phased by anything and
is always up for a new adventure. She loves running around
the pasture and jumping anything in sight. |

2008 filly is by Yeager
GF. Refined and leggy, 'Franka'
is a light, airy mover. She surprized us all by arriving with
both a blonde mane and a dark tail - her DNA test confirms
that she is in fact a sooty palomino, rare in warmbloods.
She has a lovely, feminine face and an uphill build. This
girl will be an amazing eventer or jumper [for
sale]. |
